How can I release the tension in my body?
We all have stress from time to time. Competitive fights in our jobs, our “time is money”- society and expectations put enormous weight on our shoulders and pressure on our chests.
Find a comfortable sitting or lying position. Take a breath and feel into your body.
Where in your body do you feel tension? If those body parts could speak, what would they say? If they could move according to their own will without your control, how would they move to release themselves?
There are so many delightful ways to release physical stress, you will not want to stop searching for new ways once you’ve begun.
Get some cushions and have a pillow fight! Enjoy yourself! Don’t hesitate to open your mouth and let out some releasing sounds!
Get a good massage, Shiatsu, or other nourishing physical treatments!
Take a walk in nature!
Stay under a waterfall!
Do some Yoga and stretching!
Go to the sauna!
Take a bath!
