How do I integrate silence in my life?
Silence can be a very special blessing.
Have you ever been in silence for some time? How did it feel?
Being in silence is having the chance to be with the one who is closest to you- yourself.
Being in silence we become aware of things we normally do not recognise.
Silence is healing.
Silence allows you to have a break – also in your thinking.
Being in silence we honour our dead and people who have to suffer in wars or through diseases.
Being in silence together with someone allows you to share intimate moments.
How would you feel eating in silence?
How would you feel being a day in silence- alone, or together with your partner?
How would you feel taking a silent walk through nature?
How would you feel communicating without speech?
It is not easy to practise silence, but it is an important and very precious aspect of a spiritual life.
