We come out of nature, we are a part of nature, and we return to nature again when we die.
Nature is beautiful, refreshing, meditative, relaxing, exciting, healthy, and heart opening. It is our roots.
Nature is whole and holy. Her elements are the ancestors of all life and living on our planet:
Mother earth gave us life and a safe ground to stand upon and invites us to create ourselves.
Water is a life spending elixir that pulsates in and around our bodies.
Fire with its life nourishing lustful energy warms us and teaches us to transform, to be sexual and wild.
Air is all around and in us, it teaches us to breathe life in, to expand and let go.
The material world, the earth the stones and minerals are the basis for our physical bodies.
The world of the plants lives inside our breathing, growing and reproduction.
The world of the creatures lives in our feelings, movements, instincts and inner experiences.
Nature is so creative that we can’t imagine in our wildest dreams how many different places and appearances it creates all over the world. All of her appearances exist to be seen, heard, smelled, tasted, enjoyed, bewildered and cared about by us. Nature waits for us with open arms.
Nature asks our respect, devotion, and cooperation. From time to time it seems that she wants to remind us where the true power, creating and destroying comes from.
How much is nature part of your life?
When was the last time you felt happy and grateful in nature taking in what she offers?
How much respect and honour do you give nature?
What do you need from nature?
Having drawn this card it is maybe time to stop what you’re doing right now and leave to spend time in nature?
Maybe it is time to take your child/partner/father by the hand and go for a walk in nature?
Maybe it is time to connect with the elements: stand under a waterfall and enjoy the blessings of water! Take a walk on the earth, open your sense and enjoy the blessings of earth! Make a fireplace, dance and sing around it and enjoy the blessings of fire! Run across a meadow, or hike up a mountain taking deep breathes and enjoy the blessings of air!
Maybe it is time to give nature your respect and do a ritual outside to show your humbleness?
Maybe it is time to be grateful that you can enjoy and refill in nature from time to time?
