The content of Tri-Energetics (TE) is simple: “Know what you need, say what you want, have clear intentions. Be flexible, compassionate, and curious.” The context for this TE formula is: “we are a unity of body, mind/emotions, and spirit.” The theory is very simple, but it’s practices are very rich.
Practising and teaching TE emphasizes presence, authenticity, and embodiment – living the song you sing.
As the importance of gratitude. Being in silence, singing mantras, giving someone a hug. Or having an emotional release from time to time.
Rickie Moore, PhD – founder of TE – was a great role model for this. She taught in the moment and spoke from her heart. Before experiential Playshops or TE Teachings she composed songs, created exercises, and read voraciously. Once she was in a group, her focus was on responding to the question: “What does the group need now?” Her extensive preparation simply provided tools that might prove useful in this process.
