Which place does gratitude have in my life?
There is no spirituality without gratitude!
We can be grateful any time- for the very small and daily things in our lives.
We can be grateful for the warm, clear, cleaning water that runs over our hands doing the dishes. We can be grateful waking up besides our wonderful partner.
We can be grateful for the shape of the clouds in the sky, for the colour of the sunset, for the smell of a flower.
We can be grateful for a hug, for a warm touch, for a stroke.
We can be grateful to see someone enjoy.
We can be grateful for silence.
We can be grateful for a warm nourishing cup of tea.
We can be grateful for the food we eat.
We can be grateful to see someone smile.
We can be grateful for being able to be grateful.
Even if we have a hard time there are still things around or in us which we can be grateful for.
How do you feel when you are grateful?
Can you imagine to practise gratitude just like you would practise to speak a language, or to meditate, taking some minutes a day to focus on it? Can you imagine how you, your life and your relationships would change if you would integrate gratitude in your daily life? Can you imagine, how people would want to be close to someone who is radiating with gratitude?
